Finding the Right Wedding Anniversary Invitation Wording

Finding the Right Wedding Anniversary Invitation Wording

Time flies when you're having fun and when you are with usually the one you love. While the years pass, perhaps your anniversaries commence to sneak on you, with you and your loved one seemingly always winding up venturing out to dinner again. Or perhaps the big day comes and goes, and you don't do anything at all because you are on a restricted budget and can't consider something to achieve that is celebratory, memorable, and won't cost a fortune. (Sure, a visit to your wine country sounds perfect; but is it worth refinancing your house and mortgage to finance this?)

Well, luckily, you can be both romantic and financially smart. Here are 5 inexpensive and exciting new approaches to celebrate your anniversary.

1. Just Be Together

Take the day off from work, turn fully off the cellular phone, stop checking your email, and just spend some quality time together and save money. Keep it simple and remove yourselves from your busy everyday lives. Celebrate your lifetime together because that's what your anniversary is all about.

2. Match Your Gift with Your Anniversary Year

If that is your fifth anniversary, give five roses. If this really is your 10th anniversary, provide a 10-minute massage. Be thoughtful and fun. Produce a game from it, and see who will show up most abundant in creative number-themed gift.

3. Give Thoughtful Gifts

For each anniversary year, there are traditional gifts that you could give. For example, the gift for the initial year is traditionally paper. Consider giving your better half stationery you've customized, a book, a love letter, or whatever else connected with paper. It doesn't have to be expensive, just thoughtful. There's also a modern anniversary gift for each year. For example, for the fourth anniversary, the current gift is appliances, which is actually a lot cheaper than the usual pricey bit of technology. If you're interested in what these gifts are, listed here is a handy set of traditional and modern anniversary gifts by year.

4. Watch Your Wedding Video

I don't think I've ever watched my wedding video. Honestly, I'm not sure where it is. But what's the point of having a movie made if you are not going to watch it? Your anniversary is a superb opportunity to consider that special day, so pull out that wedding DVD and watch highlights together. If you do not have one, perhaps you've a movie of a secondary you took or another memorable occasion. If not, look throughout your wedding album or pictures that you took throughout your years together.

5. Get Crafty

If you are feeling a little artsy, go decorate some pottery for every other (most towns have a DIY pottery studio or two). Or make something together, such as for instance a photo album or scrapbook of the last year's events.
